3.5mm TRRS Extension Cable, Male to Female

Function: This cable features a male 3.5mm TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve, indicated by the four segments on the plug) connector on one end and a female 3.5mm TRRS jack on the other. It is specifically designed to maintain the TRRS connection, which carries audio input (microphone) and output (headphone) signals, making it compatible with smartphones, tablets, and some cameras. Usage: These extension cords are essential for situations where the user needs more distance between the recording device and the person wearing the lavalier microphone, such as for interviews, vlogging, or filming from a distance. Compatibility: Popular lavalier microphones like the Rode smartLav+ are designed to work with such TRRS extension cables.
